Orlando Family Magazine sent out a coupon for Freshfields Farm in their July issue. It's a well known fact that coupons for produce are rare. So, when you find this, grab it. The value is $5 off $25. It doesn't expire until August 31. (The magazine is well worth getting for its family-related stories, too.
Two weeks ago, Eat More Produce had organic, local bok choy for $1.49/lb. I had seen box choy before, but this stuff was the most beautiful I'd ever seen. There were no holes in the leaves or anything. I bought it and added it to our menu. We had it when Paul's mom was in town. I must say, it was so good I ate more than I should have. I was very full. Luckily, we left enough for Paul to take to work the following day.
The results are in&helip; but they won't tell us! The Orlando Sentinel is hosting an evening at Eden Bar to announce the winners next week. However, we're pretty sure Eat Like a Rabbit came in second place for the Foodie section of the Orlando Orbbies. We also expect we came in at some point for the best overall Central Florida Blogs. I'm really proud of these results because we were up against some very nice Foodie blogs.
