We've only ever eaten at an In-N-Out Burgers twice on our visits to California. In fact, many years ago I spent a summer in southern California and never laid eyes on an In-N-Out. So, I'm not exactly sure in what regions they are located, but it's a chain with branches even in Arizona. The restaurant offered a map for people traveling by car this summer to locate restaurants along the way. It would have been fun to get one, but I am learning to be more concerned about the environment and not so wasteful.
Firstly, I would like to thank all the people who have emailed or commented their congratulations in the blessing of God giving us a child. It is wonderful having such a supportive network of friends and family. We are getting increasingly excited. Although, I have been getting flack from certain friends for not being more excited. However, when I jump out of bed in the morning not from the propulsion of the great energy gained from a good night's sleep (in fact, quite the opposite), but from the need of my stomach to see the inside of the toilet first thing. .
On occasion, we find opportunity to eat at IKEA. Generally, a sale draws us in, and we arrange to have friends go with us. The activity is so much more fun with another couple. When IKEA Orlando opened, we were still newlyweds, and we took along fellow newlyweds, Tim and Magally Putt. We enjoyed a variety of vegetarian dishes. Magally, also enjoyed the Swedish meatballs, which are not vegetarian.
This is one of our favorite recipes from "The Vegetarian 5-Ingredient Gourmet". It allows for much creativity and lets Paul and I make differing concoctions according to our tastes.
