Orlando Family Magazine sent out a coupon for Freshfields Farm in their July issue. It's a well known fact that coupons for produce are rare. So, when you find this, grab it. The value is $5 off $25. It doesn't expire until August 31. (The magazine is well worth getting for its family-related stories, too.
How exciting! (And no, the marketing person did not tell me about this. It was just luck.) I just came across a coupon for Savory Choice Vegetable Broth on the $5 Dinners website. The value is $1/1, and you can print two coupons per computer. That makes these little gems $3.99 a pack for 12 cups worth of concentrated broth. Good thing I haven't gone to the grocery store yet!
I don't know if this is a good deal. I haven't read that many people have tried it. Personally, I don't intend to try it because I haven't been eating enough to require refueling from previous MorningStar Farms sales. Nevertheless at about $0.36 a box of veggie-meat, it's a pretty good deal.
Last week at work went better than I had planned, but there was enough going on that I really appreciated the light dinner ideas I has scheduled during last week's post. The only change I made was to have Mexican Pizza on Friday night instead of the Egg Fu Yung, which means I have at least one meal already planned for this coming week! It's kind of like a roll-over.
Paul had been reading up on the quality of Stonyfield Organic yogurt, and he wanted to buy some plain kind at Publix this week. Ironically, I got to taste a flavored sample at Costco yesterday, and we decided the yogurt is a good deal like European yogurt, which is often thinner than American yogurt, generally due to less additives.
Sign up on the Uncle Ben's website to get $1 off of two packages coupons. Use them at Publix where the Country Inn versions are on sale (Buy one, get one free) until Wednesday night of this week. You can use one coupon and pay just $0.25 per box.
If you didn't get enough MorningStar Farms veggie-meat products when there was that great 50% off sale at Publix a month-plus back or if you just don't live near a Publix, these coupons look like a great deal.
