Menu Plan. . .Wednesday?
It's Wednesday, and I'm just now sharing my menu plans for the week. I'll fill you in on the activities so far and let you know what we'll be eating or have already eaten.
Sunday, we helped friends move. And it's generally on Sunday that I at least think about food. Only, when I was done, I was very tired and my allergies started catching up with me. I don't think we even ate dinner. We showered, I finished a book, and we crashed.
Monday was fairly normal, but for some reason I never made it to a computer in the afternoon to write up a menu and was more interested in sharing my Pie Pumpkin post in the morning. We had burritos (which we didn't have last week after all due to the fact that we ate sandwiches pretty much all week. But there was a variety of sandwiches.), cleaned up quickly, and went to the gym for a good workout as with all our date-nights last week I did no evening exercises.
Tuesday, I awoke before 5 was at work by 5:45, and we went to the "Get Motivated" seminar complements of my office. I'd like to share some of what I learned at a later date. I left straight from the Orange County Convention Center and went to church for a television recording. I got home and fell into bed about 10:00. I have no idea what Paul ate for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We haven't been able to chat much in the last 48 hours except to say "I'm coming home." (This is where I appreciate Twitter because at least he could follow what I was learning at the seminar.)
I scored a great deal on apples, white cheddar, and fresh bread at Target today. Those sound like they could make a nice sandwich for tonight followed by choir practice. (I know. Sandwiches again. But bear in mind I was up 17 hours yesterday with only slight dozing during Rudy Giuliani's speech, which couldn't have been very restful cause I somehow managed to continue taking some pretty good notes. Also, I believe in taking advantage of the freshest of ingredients. Fresh deli cheese and artisan bread counts. We have veggies, too, of course.)
My last two nights this week, I'll be working on French Onion Soup and Zucchini Pasta. Hopefully, I'll have the time for that.
Thanks for your patience with this unorganized situation. I promise to be back in good form. . .soon.
