Last week's menu plan went really well. The only thing I never got around to was the Dutch Boy. Sadly, I still won't get around to it this week because we're out of eggs and there will be no grocery shopping until we return from a long Easter weekend with Paul's family.
Here's a review of what we had this week.
* Pizza. Black olives, onions, garlic, Morningstar Farms Chicken.
* New Asian patties from Morningstar Farms with homemade chow mein.
* Tortellini and Asparagus from last month's Gourmet Magazine.
* Veggie Wraps with carrots, lettuce, asparagus Morningstar Farms Chicken and a new salad dressing.
* Roasted Sweet Potatoes with creamed broccoli from this month's Gourmet Magazine.
There will be no menu arranged for this week. I have a fridge full of leftovers that need to be eaten before we leave on Thursday--plus I won't even be home for dinner on Tuesday night, which means Paul will likely have cereal. I have supplies for a salad and gazpacho, which is a good soup for when it's hot outside. However, it's about to cool off; so, I'll put together a warm soup, too. There is a serving of sweet potatoes and broccoli leftover from Friday night and a bowl full of leftover green beans from Sabbath afternoon that will need to be spread out. So, we'll make due with what we've got.
