Ethos Vegan Kitchen-Orlando, Florida
These are pictures of our lunch visit with Tim and Magally Putt to Ethos Vegan Kitchen. Paul and I shared the vegetable lasagna and a 10" pizza. Tim and Magally shared the vegetable lasagna and a black bean burger. Tim said the sandwich was twice the size of the lasagna but half the price.
Paul and I really enjoyed the lasagna. It was simple fare with squash, zucchini, onion, and a touch of spinach. The taste was fresh and the vegan cheese did not leave a heavy feeling in your stomach.
The pizza had two sauce choices and about 12 topping choices. It comes with cheese, but I thought I remembered it being one of the optional toppings previously. I chose pesto sauce over marinara, which made the crust a tad greasy. For my 3 included toppings (which I think is more generous than most restaurants) I chose zucchini, tomatoes, and black olives. Additional toppings would have cost extra. The zucchini was sliced thickly, which left it a bit crunchy because it didn't cook through. This is a very minor problem. Otherwise, the meal was simple and yummy.
