Tomato Basil Soup-IKEA Orlando-Cost to Eat
On occasion, we find opportunity to eat at IKEA. Generally, a sale draws us in, and we arrange to have friends go with us. The activity is so much more fun with another couple. When IKEA Orlando opened, we were still newlyweds, and we took along fellow newlyweds, Tim and Magally Putt. We enjoyed a variety of vegetarian dishes. Magally, also enjoyed the Swedish meatballs, which are not vegetarian.
IKEA offers an excellent Tomato Basil Soup that I brag about often, but it is only offered as a soup of the day. The side salads are fine, too. The mashed potatoes and mac and cheese did well for my dad after he had jaw surgery. My mom had the pre-made vegetarian sandwich. We went to IKEA for breakfast one day with Travis and Patty Wooley and ordered the full breakfast: home fries, French Toast sticks, and scrambled eggs. The servers had no problem leaving off the meat. We almost always purchase a pack of cinnamon rolls on our way out at the end of our shopping trip. Those are some of the best.
So, IKEA is a reasonably priced and tasty way to eat out, plus has recommended products to make life in the kitchen more fun.
Cost
- $1.99 Full Breakfast (with or without bacon)
- $1.79 Side of Mac and Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Vegetables
- $3.99 Vegetables in Alfredo Sauce
- $4.99 Package of 6 Cinnamon Rolls to take home
Thank you Tim, Magally, Mom, Dad, Travis, and Patty for being so much fun to shop with.
