I'm quite proud of this recipe. I chopped up baking potatoes, diced up a small onion, minced or chopped a few cloves of garlic and cooked the potatoes on medium with just enough olive oil to keep the potatoes from sticking to the skillet. About 7 seven minutes before the potatoes were done, I harvested three large sprigs of rosemary from our herb garden and chopped the leaves into the skillet. For seasoning, I added a generous amount of salt and onion powder. Obviously, more salt can be added at the table. Ketchup is fantastic with this, but a dash of chili oil mixed in with the ketchup would be even better.
The baked beans come from Busch's and are labeled "Vegetarian". Otherwise, you can safely assume they are not. Veja-links are a product of Worthington Foods. There are at least three other vegetarian hot dog substitutes by Morningstar Farms and Loma Linda. Some taste very meaty. But these have always been my favorite.
