This is such a great, truly simple, and full-flavored recipe. We found it in the "Moosewood Simple Suppers" cookbook. We had given my mother-in-law the book for a holiday or birthday, and she repaid us with this meal.
As soon as I had the ingredients, I made it at home for us. We loved it. We did replace the mushrooms with Vegetarian Chicken Strips by Morningstar Farms. We also left out the cream cheese because I try not to buy it. We used an extra layer of Mozzarella instead. I highly recommend this recipe for picky dinners and for children. It's just a fancy pizza.
