Ethos Vegan Kitchen, Orlando-Trip 2

Ethos Vegan Kitchen

Not much surprise, here. The food was awesome. I have to say I liked my wrap better than Paul's black bean burger, but I'm sure it's just cause black beans aren't my favorite. I do love sprouts and although the menu said sprouts came on the sandwich, I was unlucky to visit on a day when they were out of sprouts. But don't complain yet. These people pride themselves on freshness. So, who am I to complain about not getting sprouts when it's better than getting nasty sprouts?

I believe our dishes were served with choices of sides. Paul ordered the tomato-mango salsa, which was fabulous. I had the fresh fruit cup. It was the first time I had ever had papaya! I like papayas. . .but only perfectly ripe, like Ethos serves.

Now, don't think this nothing but a fresh sandwich joint. There's plenty of other options including a "make-your-own" pizza with choice of soy or non-soy cheese and pumpkin ravioli. So in conclusion, it's a great way for broadening your horizons and a good way to learn to be grateful for a restaurant that really does seem to care about serving the very best.

I have to agree 100%. As a carnivore, Ethos Vegan Kitchen is one of my favorite Orlando Restaurants. It is absolutely delicious.

Anne, thanks for your comment. How did you come across Ethos if you weren't seeking out meat-free dining?

I went to Ethos--somewhat reluctantly--not too long ago, mainly to get content for a blog post. I was so pleased (and surprised) by my experience that Ethos has become one of my new favorite places!

I went for brunch and am looking forward to going back to try dinner sometime.

Hmm. I take it you are a carnivore? Paul took some coworkers to Ethos for lunch as an activity. Even the meat-eaters weren't disappointed. That's a sign of a good vegetarian/vegan restaurant; one that can make you think not having meat on your plate occasionally won't kill you.

I read your blog post about your brunch meal. Looks really good. I'm a sucker for French Toast of any kind. May I recommend going with more people and passing the plate around to share all the goodness that comes from the kitchen?

...going to have to take my family there!!!! Mango salsa alone makes my mouth water!

Thanks.
Fely

Good. Let me know how it turns out.
